Nazare

There's not a lot to report from today.

It seemed a little rowdy on the campsite last night with more noise than usual.

The morning revealed this to be the culprit, this rig had pitched up late !

Twenty Germans plus tour guides in this monster truck.

There are twenty one sleeping pods in the back, twenty one seats in the front for travel, a tail lift that folds down to reveal a kitchen, I just hope they don't serve beans for supper.

My idea of hell !

But hey, they seemed to be enjoying it and were in high spirits.

I couldn't cope with those claustrophobic sleeping pods at the back

Nazare beach are getting ready for the influx of pro surfers
from mid October onwards, lots of work going on building stands and marquees

This afternoon I cycled down to Nazare for a mooch along the front, got persuaded to buy a local cheese by a lady in the indoor market, and called in Aldi for milk.

The excitement of life on the road, lol.

Earlier today we met up again with Tony and Sue who we saw in Playa de las Catedrales in Glacia.

By coincidence they're on the same campsite as us so we had a catch up and shared some tales.

Tomorrow we're going to leave Nazare and begin our route home towards cold and wet Blighty.

But we're hoping for some interesting sights along the way before we reach the cold stuff.
