Well after yesterday's choice of an amazing place for the night, I drew a bit of a dud today.
A small town called Brivesca, just off the N1 trunk road between Burgos and Miranda de Ebro.
There's actually nothing wrong with it, it's free overnight parking and free services, just that anything after Pedraza would be a bit of a let down.
Sue had her pre-arranged telephone call with the specialist nurse and that went ok.
There's not the panic to get back we thought there might be, but we're heading home steadily, step by step and we should be home by the time they need to see her towards mid October.
Only photos for today are some of Pedraza I took this morning while Sue waited for her call, I took another wander around the village.
One of the restaurants in Pedraza had tables and chairs out, they were tiny, like hobbit chairs, lol. Louis is there to give scale |
I couldn't resist another walk around Pedraza and I was treated to a flying display by Swifts darting around, thousands of them in the trees |
At least I think they're Swifts |
Our parking for tonight in Brivesca, is also next to the Bullring but it doesn't quite have the character of Segovia's Bullring yesterday |
