Lauren and Chloe picked us up from the campsite in their hire car today and it was lovely to be a passenger for a change.
We went to a small fortified hilltop village called Obidos.
It's about 35 minutes south from Nazare.
What a lovely place it is too.
Lots of medieval houses, alleys, steps and courtyards all hanging with Bourgainvillea plants.
There's also lots of tourists shops, cafes and restaurants for refreshments.
There are fortified walls all the way around the village but they were quite a steep climb so we elected to stay on more horizontal footpaths.
Later we went round to Lauren and Chloe's Airbnb for pizza tea.
A great day out spent with Lauren and Chloe.
