Island of Krk - Day 1 Klimno

We had a greats night sleep, probably from the long walk earlier in the day.

The Taverna along the quay did us a very tasty meal whilst we watched the sunset in front of us.

A supermarket shop followed before setting off up the coast road to the Island of Krk which has a road link over a toll bridge.

We settled into a very nice little campsite called Camping Slamni at Klimno (GPS 45.15358 14.61805) It is set directly on the beach and has great modern facilities. An attractive beach and a small village and Marina next door with some restaurants that look very inviting.

So Ed is almost dipping his tyres in the Adriatic Sea.

We had a thunderstorm this afternoon so some chores were done in the time we had to spare. A laundry load and a vac and cleanup of Ed.
The sun came out again this evening and things soon dried up again.

After that, not much to report for today, after yesterdays excersions we`ll be taking it easy .
