We left out premium VIP pitch at Gavotok this morning, after lingering just long enough to take in the stunning scenery overlooking the sea.
We decided on a visit to Krk town, and I even parked in the same place we parked in 2018, on our first trip here.
It all felt quite familiar really and certainly didn't feel like four years had passed.
Krk is always worth another visit as it's is a pretty little town with a scenic waterfront and narrow polished stone streets and impressive Frankopan Castle, and of course it comes with lots of the usual tourist shops.
It was quite busy as well with lots of holiday makers enjoying the autumn sunshine.
Unfortunately the weather forecast is not too good for the next few days with rain moving in. It's already getting quite windy.
I'd planned a stop at a site in Baska, but when we got there the receptionist told me they had a large group of Austrian teenagers who were going to be partying large into the night, maybe until 5am.
It was going to be LOUD .!
Thats not for us so we headed back to Krk and have checked into the campsite there.
It's a large well laid out site and has all we need, except perhaps the view we enjoyed last night.
But it'll do us, especially if the weather turns wet tomorrow, we can just hunker down and watch tv.
Some viewa of Krk town and our campsite tonight at Krk Camping
That's not a tree fall, it's how it's grown |
I photographed this statue four years ago, looks looks like she's still getting her breasts rubbed ! |
