Down on the beach

Today with the sun shining we went down to the nearby beach, most of the beach prohibited dogs but one section was doggie friendly so we went there.

It was very warm and not much shade and nobody renting parasols.

We had a beach shelter better suited to the UK as it provided shade but got very warm inside with the sun on it. Great in the UK but not here.

So we only lasted until lunchtime then returned to Ed for lunch and a kip in the shade of the canopy.

Later I got the doggiehut trailer hooked up to my bike and went for a ride but, to be honest, it was just too hot for cycling so I had twenty minutes going down the lanes and then returned.

Tomorrow we are returning to Padau, the small city nearby we called in on Tuesday, but the rain that day prevented us from exploring much. So we will go back tomorrow and hope the fridge part is delivered to the campsite in Venice so we can call and pick it up later in the day. We can stay overnight in Padua and collect it Tuesday if necessary if it arrives then, but after that it will really be causing us a problem waiting for it.

That’s all to report today, phone calls home, lovely to speak to Lauren and Carl this evening.

No photos today, we`ll spare you pasty white flesh, actually we didn`t take any photos and so will spare ourselves the sight !

Enjoy the Bank Holiday tomorrow, just think, we`ll be back home for the next one in August to enjoy it with you all !
