A relaxing day in the Venetian sunshine

Not much to report today as we have barely moved at all.

After yesterdays exersions in Venice we needed a day to relax so that`s what we did, nothing.

Only news is that the fridge part didn`t arrive, so if it doesn`t come tomorrow morning it won`t come then until Monday so that puts us at a loose end for a couple of days. But what better place to be at a loose end ?

We`ll have to go somewhere nearby and call back Monday. 

Or we could stay here, but I think we`d rather see somewhere else.

As for the master plan for the next stage of our tour, well, it was planned to be to head east towards Slovenia then south into Croatia. However looking at the weather forecasts, Solvenia seems to be still unsettled with thunderstorms. If it stays that way, we will instead head south through Italy and then get the ferry across to Croatia, probably from Ancona.

So that`s all for now, enjoy your Bank Holiday weekend and it`s good to hear the sun is shining for you. Enjoy your walks, barbeques, gardening, shopping or whatever you`re up to this weekend.

Edit Sat am : I have put together a short video from dashcam footage of our drive through the beautful Monto Baldo Hills earlier this week, heading towards Peschiera del Garda, I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed driving it.m
