We weren't in much of a rush to go anywhere this morning, it was a beautiful day, the sun was shining so I decided to get my bike out and go for a peddle on the cycle track that starts on the motorhome aire.
The track is formed from the disused railway line that ran from Privas to Le Pouzin.
It's much like some of the cycle tracks on former railway lines in Derbyshire, but this one better made with a proper tarmac finish.
The scenery though is equally spectacular.
I didn't go all the way to Le Pouzin but did about 26 km round trip.
It was a really enjoyable way to spend a morning and the track seems really popular with lots of cyclists, escooter users and walkers.

After lunch we set off for La Voulte sur Rhône which as the name suggests, sits on the banks of the Rhône.
The motorhome aire is on the opposite bank to the town so this afternoon we walked over the bridge to check out the town.
There really wasn't much there to interest us, so after a look around and a visit to the local park, we returned over the bridge and had an hour sitting out in the sunshine.

I think they may have been some kind of furnace
