Farthing Common was a great place to spend the night after we were treated to a spectacular sunset at dusk.
The alarm was set for 0330 🥴
The crossing went smoothly, I'm always anxious about Louis passport being accepted.
For some reason that I'm not entirely sure why, I always half expect them to find a problem with it.
But so far, getting his EU passport in the Republic of Ireland has proven to be a great decision.
First stop was the beach at Stella Plage. It's a typical seaside town but quite pleasant and it gave us the opportunity to have some breakfast and a walk along the promenade.
Dogs not allowed on the beach in high season unfortunately.
After we were rested we set off for tonight's parkup on the River Seine near Rouen. We're in a little village called La Bouille.
It's quite a pretty village with a few bars and restaurants, a boulangerie and a car ferry shuttling across the river.
Our parkup is right on the river front and we can watch the barges passing by in front of us.
Tomorrow we'll head further south and west to somewhere yet to be decided.
