Lake Garda - day two

Thursday 27th June

It's still very warm here but we like it here.

Last night was a bit less humid than the previous night and a morning swim on lake Garda was certainly very refreshing.

There is something odd about the climate here and I do wonder though if they have an air quality problem here.

If you look south down the lake, you can see for a mile, maybe two miles, then everything disappears in a haze. This is on a bright cloudless day.
Even the small mountains around us disappear in a haze at times.

So what's causing the haze I've no idea.

Were still enjoying it though, it's warm and sunny with a cooling breeze.

After swimming, I got the kayak inflated and had a paddle, taking care to avoid the windsurfers, of which there are many and they go so fast.

So life is good on Lake Garda.

We had a short stroll into town this evening and full of appealing restaurants and tourist type shops of all description.

A nice place though.

There is a very cute, old looking house on the quay, I don't know if it was the old harbour masters house.
