Castle Coole and back on the WAW at Dunmoran beach

Thursday 16th September 2021

Well, I spoke too soon yesterday when saying how great the weather has been.
It's rained today, our first day when rain has affected what we wanted to do.
It came down for most of the day, but had brightened up by teatime and Louis and I enjoyed a good run on the sandy beach at Dunmoran.

Before that we, visited Castle Coole in Enniskillen, another of the National Trust houses in that area.
It's a grand estate, probably more impressive than Florence Court we visited yesterday.

The house was owned by the Belmore family who still live on the estate and there is a large Belmore wedding at the estate this weekend and a large marque has been errected on the lawn.

There aren't many photos though, as no photography was allowed inside and it was too wet to walk much of the grounds.

Next we headed west to rejoin the WAW at County Sligo and found another waterfall at Glencar.
It was still tipping it down so I didn't hang around, just got some photos and headed on.

We're now in County Sligo, and our parkup for the night is Dunmoran beach, which is a beautiful as sandy cove very popular with swimmers. There have been a steady stream of them since we arrived and now, what looks like a local swimming club have turned up for a dip.
I won't be joining them, they must be very hardy around here.

I think my phone issues are resolved after speaking to network operator.
"try switching off then on again" doh.
Seems to work though
