Not a lot to report on today, spent it in a mindset of complete laziness, sitting in the sun, walking the beach, looking in rock pools and mooching about.
The weather is glorious, blue skies warm sunshine, but until late this afternoon quite a strong easterly wind.
Is calmed down now to just a gentle breeze, but it was enough to put me off getting the kayak out.
Knowing how easily it can catch the wind.
So tomorrow we'll leave Newton campsite and move on to continue our little exploration of Dumfries and Galloway.
