Severn Sisters Cliffs

Tuesday 27th August 2024

This morning we left Dicker and headed south for the coast.

More particularly Birling Gap National Trust site, famous for giving access to the Severn Sisters Cliffs.

Otherwise known as the white cliffs of Dover.

It is an amazing and evocative landscape. There are miles of beautiful walks across the rolling chalk cliffs.

We enjoyed a walk over some of the cliffs before setting off for Beachy Head.

Guess what came on the radio as we pulled onto the carpark?

Van Halen and Jump, I had to laugh.

We walked to Beachy Head and definitely didn't feel like Jumping, 😂

Next it was onto gods waiting room, otherwise known as Eastbourne where I parked up on the promenade and we had a stroll along the prom to the pier.
Unfortunately dogs are not allowed on the pier.

We're now parked up at Farthing Common which is just 15 minutes away from Le Shuttle terminal for our early departure tomorrow.
